Unassuming little take out shop that packs a punch of flavor. It’s been a while that a chicken shawarma has been both juicy and Krispy the way checkpoint did it. Had the salad bowl with tomatoes, onion, fried zucchini and eggplant and it was lovely. Would come back in a heartbeat. Tasty, healthy and fast. Would be great for an office lunch.

After leaving a one star review for the below reasons I returned today and was compelled to write this positive 5 star review! It was a genuine mistake!
I kept the old review as evidence that good customer service does exist!
Checkpoint recognised who I was and immediately apologised for the genuine mistake! They gave me a free replacement meal which was delicious and did have the chicken inside!
The food was amazing and a great portion. I had a number 5 with Chicken and extra Halloumi! I would definitely return and recommend Checkpoint to all! I have attached new pictures of my food!
Thank you to the management and staff for being understanding and correcting the issue!

Paid for a number 10… salad rice and chicken with extra halloumi …walked back to my office… excited to try this newly recommended place…. Opened my box and there was NO CHICKEN!!!
There isn’t even a number to call to complain!

Absolutely delicious and I wasn't expecting this when I found this place. The kebab is much higher quality and everything is more delicious than what you normally get. I'll be visiting again to get my hands on the delicious rice boxes!

The place I planned to dine at before a show was packed, so I visited this place spontaneously - no regrets! Good food, decent price (based on London average, of course) and helpful staff. One of the most satisfying meals I had on my visit a few months ago.

Its a been long time i havent had such a tasty and fresh and delicious meal Me my partner had chicken rice box It has extra veggies and home made sauce, i highly recommend this place to everyone to try dont miss it , service is great very polite and kind staff especially the chef with glasses )) very kind man

It was delicious, lots of salad and veggie, the sauces are so yummy especially the dill one, they also add a bit of feta. I had the rice, salad kebab box and was a very good portion. I've passed it many times, this is first time I tried but will definitely go again.

Cute spot tucked away from the crazy Oxford street. Food was delicious ! I needed something quick before my train and the gentleman serving me was lovely. Sauces are amazing and the menu is easy to understand

The best place if you want to eat on a budget in the Soho area. I tried the Doner Salad Box and it's a great combination of fresh vegetables and meat, a decent portion size, you can be sure you won't leave hungry. Great place and staff, will definitely come back here multiple times in the future.

The service was friendly and accommodating to allergies and there are small tables to sit as well. Lots of sauces and toppings and really healthy tasting food, would recommend it! Incredibly delicious! As a German expat this transported me back home. Could not recommend more :) Staff is incredibly friendly and the restaurant is clean! Keep in mind though it’s mainly a grab and go type of situation!

These guys make one of the best doners I've ever had—no exaggeration. Mohamad is hands down the hardest-working and most professional worker I've ever met. He’s like a machine! His customer service is out of this world, going above and beyond to meet the needs of every customer in line. Hats off to him. I promise I’ll be coming back here every weekend for your doner, guys
